Simply go to the Payment section on your app, tap 'Add Promo/Gift Code' and enter your Uber promo code. It'll be applied to your account and, as long as you take a qualifying ride, your discount will automatically come off your next trip.

If you're eligible for a promotion, you'll receive a promotion code through email or an Uber app notification. To view or add promotion codes to your account: In the app, select “Account” and then “Wallet.” If you have an older version of the app, you may see “Payment” instead of “Wallet.”
Promotions may have expiration dates or only apply in specific areas or cities. To review all promo codes currently applied to your account, select "Payment" from the app menu and then tap "Promotions." Details and expiration dates of your promo codes are listed there.
All members will receive member benefits on rides with the Uber One icon. Some Uber One members receive 5% off eligible rides. Some Uber One members will receive 6% Uber Cash back on eligible trips instead of 5% off. Uber Cash can be used on both Uber and Uber Eats, so you can use it on trips and orders.
